In this section, you’ll find answers to the most common questions about our car hire service. We want your experience with RentyCar to be as simple and transparent as possible. If you don’t find the information you’re looking for, don’t hesitate to contact us — we’re here to help!
How can I know if my booking is confirmed?
Whether you made your booking via the website or by email, you will receive an email confirming your booking within 24 hours of your request. Please check your spam/junk folder.
I’ve made a booking but haven’t received a confirmation email.
All bookings are confirmed within 24 hours. Please check your spam/junk folder. If you haven’t received confirmation by email, contact us on +34 608.444.777 (Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00, and Saturdays from 9:00 to 14:00).
Where can I collect and return the car?
Pick-up and return will be at our office: Estepona, Calle Ibiza 7 – Local 1B – Block 14.
Payment conditions
- €300 deposit (€600 if the driver is under 25)
- VISA and MasterCard credit cards accepted. Refunds must always be made to a credit card, except in cases where the customer does not have one, in which case cash is accepted.
What’s included in the rental rate?
– One additional driver free of charge
– Unlimited mileage
– Maintenance and taxes
– Fully comprehensive insurance with no excess
– Rental rates include compulsory motor insurance and additional third-party liability coverage arising from the use and driving of vehicles
– These coverages are guaranteed by the insurer with which the lessor has the corresponding insurance policy, and are subject to the general and specific terms of the policy
Is there an age limit to hire a car?
The driver must be at least 18 years old. To hire a van, the driver must be at least 25 years old and hold a valid driving licence for more than 4 years.
What should I do in case of an accident or breakdown?
Our rentals include 24/7 roadside assistance, provided by specialised staff. You’ll find the contact number in your rental contract. You can also call +34 608.444.777 during office hours (Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 18:00 and Saturdays from 09:00 to 14:00).
Outside of these hours, you may call breakdown assistance at +34 660.284.848.
Can I cancel my booking?
To cancel and receive a refund of your deposit, please contact us at least 48 hours before your rental starts. Otherwise, the total booking amount will be forfeited.
What documents do I need to hire a car?
– You’ll need to present a valid driving licence, an identity document (ID card or passport), and a credit card for the deposit
– The customer must be the holder of the licence
How much fuel will the vehicle have at pick-up?
The vehicle will be delivered with a full tank and must be returned with the same amount of fuel. If it’s returned with less fuel, the difference will be deducted from the deposit.
